Mr. Hawas Timothy Haule is an experienced E-Learning, Multimedia Content Development, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Specialist with extensive experience in educational technology, multimedia production, LMS implementation, data analysis, and digital learning development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).

Mr. Haule has contributed to digital learning initiatives at the University of Dar es Salaam, Centre for Virtual Learning (CVL), University Computing Centre (UCC), and College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT). His early work involved developing and customising the UDSM Learning Management System using the Knowledge Environment for Web Learning (KEWL), configuring LMS infrastructure, and training users on system functionalities.

He has also served as a Multimedia Content Developer for the Retooling ICT Project, where he developed educational videos, animations, and other multimedia resources for online and offline learning. His responsibilities included scripting, video recording and editing, e-learning authoring, Moodle customisation and configuration, and staff training. He subsequently contributed as a Data Analyst, analysing educational data to identify challenging topics in science and mathematics and supporting evidence-based improvement of learning resources.

Mr. Haule has further contributed to the Pan African Virtual and E-University (PAVEU) project, developing e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 and publishing them through Moodle LMS. At the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), he supported the digitisation of ten education guidelines, incorporating multimedia elements and publishing them on Moodle for facilitated self-paced learning.

His areas of expertise include Moodle LMS customisation and administration, e-learning and SCORM content development, multimedia production, instructional technology, data analysis, technical documentation, user research, and digital learning system implementation. He is committed to using technology and multimedia to develop accessible, engaging, and effective digital learning experiences.
