Ms. Herrieth Machiwa is Assistant Lecture in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Information and Communication Technologies. Her first degree in BSc. Computer Engineering and Information Technology was completed in 2008 at the University of Dar es Salaam. Thereafter, she joined London Metropolitan University for MSc. Computer Networking. From 2011 to date, she is working at the University of Dar es Salaam-CoICT. The research interest includes: Computer Networking, GIS, Human-Environmental Changes.

Alexander Rogath Kivaisi is an Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his first degree in Computer Science at the University of Dar es Salaam (USDM) in 2009; Bachelor of Science (HONS) In Information Technology (University of Cape Town, SA) in 2010; Masters of Science In Computer Science (University of Cape Town, SA) in 2015. Mwita Sogorya received his BSc in Computer Science in 2008 from the University of Dar es Salaam and MSc in Computer Science in 2016 from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), China. He works as an Assistant Lecturer and as an assistant postgraduate coordinator at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Dar-es-Salaam. Aron Kondoro received his Master of Science degree in Information and Communication Systems Security from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH - Sweden) in 2012 and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dar-es-Salaam in 2007.
He is an Assistant Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at the University of Dar-es-Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania. Currently, he is a PhD student at KTH/UDSM doing research in using smart grid technologies to design and implement more efficient, reliable and autonomous solar-driven microgrids for off-grid rural communities. His other research and consultancy activities are focused on analyzing ICT systems security and using mobile technologies to design applications for educational and financial use-cases.

Diana Severine Rwegasira is a PhD student as a sandwich programme between University of Dar es salaam in Tanzania and Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (November, 2015 till present) focusing on agent based control in smart grid systems. She obtained her Bsc in Computer Engineering and IT at the University of Dar es salaam from Sept.2004- Dec. 2008.Thereafter, she went to University of Eastern Finland in Finland and pursued her Msc in Computer Science from Oct.2009 –Dec.2010. She has been teaching different course at the University of Dar es salaam inducing programming courses, computer applications and e-commerce applications. She has been involved in mentoring and grooming of students at University of Dar es salaam ICT incubator (UDICTI) from June 2012 to present. Henry received his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Gothenburg in 2013.He is working as a system analyst at HISP Tanzania who specializes in the requirement engineering, agile development process (Scrum), analysis and design of Information Systems and documentation. Henry has vast knowledge and practical experience in the field of Information System and its implementation. I am an assistant lecturer with the CSE, having received my MSc in Health Informatics with the University of Dar es Salaam, in collaboration with the University of Oslo, Norway. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Health Informatics, under the same department, under CARTA Fellowship. Despite being a computer programming teacher for years, my research interests also include designing, development and implementation of information systems in relation to social, cultural and organisational contexts. I have worked with the health sector for twelve (12) years three of which I spent in Zanzibar and the rest in Tanzania mainland. I have also worked with the education sector for about two years through the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) as a principal systems analyst. Briefly, I also had a chance to work with the permanent voters register in Tanzania.

Mr. Bernard Mussa is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), UDSM, Tanzania. He received his Masters’ of Science degree in Information and Communication Science and Engineering from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), Tanzania in 2014, specializing in Information System Development and Management. Mr. Bernard also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Hons) awarded by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in 2010. His research interests are Information Systems Management, Software Engineering, Data warehousing, Data Mining, Mobile Computing and ICT4D. Betty is an Assistant Lectures in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has a BSc (hons) in Computer Engineering and IT from University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and MSc from the same institution. Currently, she is a beneficiary of Bilateral Scientific Cooperation - VLIR-UOS: Global Minds Program PhD scholar at the IMOB, transportation research institute, University of Hasselt, in the Belgium in collaboration with UDSM. Her research interest are on the use of ICT interventions to improve road safety for school children in the context of developing countries. She joined UDSM in 2008 as a Tutorial Assistant and promoted to Assistant Lecturer in 2013. As an academician in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, she has been involved in teaching undergraduate courses mainly computer architecture and assisted in supervision of undergraduate final year projects and MSc dissertations. She is a member of information systems research group and e-learning research group at CoICT.

Mahadia Tunga is an Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering. Mr. Anthony Kigombola is an Assistant Lecturer at the department of Computer Science and Engineering having joined the University of Dar es Salaam in 2009. Jacqueline Damas is currently a PhD student at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany majoring in Microwave Photonics realization on printed circuit boards. She received Master of Science degree by thesis specialized in lightning protection of overhead transmission lines in 2008 from University of Dar es Salaam. She graduated her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University of Kampala in 2002. Jacqueline’s research interest is on simulation and design in the areas of Microwave Photonics, Optical Communication, Mobile Communication, Lightning Protection, Electromagnetic waves induction and propagation on metals and Electromagnetic Compatibility. Mr. Wilfred Senyoni is a PhD candidate at the University of Oslo, Norway researching in Health Information Systems. He currently holds the position of Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dar es Salaam. He holds Msc in Computer Science and Bsc major in Computer Science from University of Dar es Salaam received in 2011 and 2006 respectively. His research interest includes Information System specifically the processes of Standardization and Interoperability.
For more than a decade, Wilfred has been involved in implementing several Information Systems within organizations and national wide in Tanzania. Examples of system he has worked with includes but not limited to DHIS2, HRHIS and eIDSR. Abdil Rashid Mohamed is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He received his Licentiate of Engineering degree in Computer Systems from Linköping University, Sweden in 2005 and his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Wroclaw Technical University, Poland in 1999. His research interests include Machine Learning, Design for Test of Digital Systems, High-level Synthesis for Testability and Built-in Self Test.
Abdil has intensively lectured and supervised student projects at various Universities including UDSM, KIU, DUCE and Linkoping. He has also worked as an external quality assurance consultant at Zanzibar University and Al-Maktoum College of Engineering.
Abdil has vast experiences and expertise in ICT industry. He co-founded TOX3 Co. Ltd. and CES Africa Investment (CESAI) Co. Ltd., where he is a director and CTO. At CESAI he conceptualizes, oversees, manages and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of many technical projects which spans software development, computer networks, fibre optic installations, asset management & tracking and identification solutions.
Abdil was born in Pemba and grew up in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is married with three children.
