he Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (ETE) through its Professional Development Programs (PDP-ETE) proudly hosted the PDP-ETE Recognition Ceremony (2024–2026), celebrating participants’ commitment, dedication, and successful completion of professional training programs.


The recognition ceremony, held at Board Room – Block A , College of ICT Kijitonyama Campus , under the University of Dar es Salaam , brought together CoICT Top-Level Management, Trainers, Industry stakeholders, and Participants to recognize achievements made through hands-on professional development initiatives designed to enhance skills, innovation, and career advancement.


Speaking during the event, the Guest of Honor and Principal of College of ICT Prof. Baraka J. Maiseli emphasized the importance of continuous learning, practical skills development, and collaboration between academia and industry in preparing professionals who can contribute to technological transformation and national development.


The PDP-ETE initiative continues to strengthen professional capacity by providing relevant training opportunities in areas including electronics, telecommunications, ICT, and emerging technologies.
