Ms. Mwanaisha Ally Mkwenya is an experienced ICT Officer and Information Technology Specialist at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), with extensive experience in ICT systems administration, technical support, equipment maintenance, network configuration, software installation, and user support.

She holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from the National Institute of Transport, together with a Diploma and Certificate in Information Technology from the University Computing Centre. Prior to joining UDSM, Ms. Mkwenya worked for the High Court of Tanzania from 2003 to 2022, where she served as a Computer Operator/ICT Officer and gained extensive experience in ICT operations and institutional technology support.

At UDSM, Ms. Mkwenya supports the effective operation and maintenance of ICT systems and infrastructure. Her responsibilities and technical expertise include installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining ICT equipment, operating systems, software, and computer networks, as well as monitoring ICT systems and providing technical and customer support.

Ms. Mkwenya has also contributed to digital learning and staff capacity-building initiatives at UDSM. She has conducted Moodle training for academic staff and students, delivered computer applications training, and assisted academic staff in developing e-learning content. She has undertaken specialised training in video conferencing installation and operations and case recording management systems.

Her areas of expertise include ICT systems administration, network and software configuration, technical support, ICT equipment maintenance, Moodle training, e-learning support, and user capacity building. She is committed to providing reliable ICT services and supporting the effective integration of technology into teaching, learning, and institutional operations.
